Curious Home and Soap Is A Noun
The small sculptures in “Curious Home” are made with various papers, sometimes styrofoam, and polymer mediums. Watercolor shapes, patterns, and characters are painted on paper and applied. A specific interpretation is not prescribed. The sculptures could be doll houses or something more tragic. They are designed to be fooled with, and it is recommended that toys and personal mementos be added and rearranged.
“Soap Is a Noun” plays with words: Words that are both a noun and a verb and words that can be read forwards and backwards. The titles poke fun at mean tweets, but are not mean.
